Videos coming this summer (Nearly at 900 subscribers!)

Hi everyone! It’s Eden and today I’m just telling you more about my plan for this summer.

I’m really sorry that I haven’t uploaded any videos for a while, this last term at school has been packed with trips, exams, homework and extracurricular projects. I basically spent all my weekends doing homework, catching up on classwork and procrastinating. But that’s all going to change as today is my first day of the summer holidays! Unlike most people in the UK, my holidays are 11 weeks long, which should give me time to make a lot of videos.

The videos I’m planning to make are 3 series: Lalaloopsy Popular, a LPS romance mini-series and another Lalaloopsy series that I'm keeping under wraps for now. The LPS series will star my new LPS which I will show you in an unboxing video coming soon. Be warned…I have a TON of unboxing videos, and not much left in my bank account.

What I’ve been meaning to ask you is to vote for my next video that isn’t part of a series. I want to make a short film or a music video, but I don’t know whether to do it with Lalaloopsies or LPS, and what topic or song to make it about. This is why I’ve created a poll where you can vote for all of these things! The link is in the description and you can vote for or comment your own ideas about what videos I’m going to make this summer.

I'm also going to make an updated mini Lalaloopsy collection video, which is well overdue.

Lalaloopsy Popular Updates

No, Lalaloopsy Popular has not come to an end. In fact, the opposite is happening because I have just finished Episode 12, written part of the script for Episode 13 and planned up to the start of Season 2. I’m sorry I haven’t updated you for a while on this (not that anyone reads my blog anyway), I honestly don’t know why I didn’t start working on this earlier. I guess I was just waiting for more time on my hands when school finished so I could focus more on the project.

Just a few questions you might ask about this series:
Q: How long will it take you to upload Episode (_)?
A: I’m not sure, it all depends on when I start writing the script and the time I have to make it. I will post updates on Instagram or Twitter when I’m working on a new episode. Usually it takes between 1 and 2 months to make a new episode.

Q: How many more episodes are there till the end of Season 1?
A: It’s a secret for now ;)

Q: Will there be a Season 2?
A: Yes, I’ve had a Season 2 planned ever since I thought of the idea for this series.

Q: Is this series suitable for all ages?
A: It depends. Some episodes contain content unsuitable for younger viewers, but it will always say in the description if it does, and in the newer episodes it will also state the type of content it contains. Season 2 will be more mature and unsuitable for younger viewers, because of the themes included. This series in general is targeted at ages 11 and up because it includes references to eating disorders which get stronger as the series goes on, mild language (b*tch, sl*t, cr*p, d*mn), homophobia, bullying and the LGBT+ community. Although LGBT+ characters should be ok for all ages, many people disagree with me and think it is still classed as a mature topic, and I know some people disagree with it.

Q: This is a blatant copy of (series). Why are you plagiarising them?
A: Admittedly I am a fan of high school series and have watched quite a lot, so you may spot some similarities in themes or plot between Lalaloopsy Popular and another high school series. However, I would never steal the entire storyline and the plot for my series is entirely my own creation, which I came up with before I started watching LPS Popular etc. The reason my series is called Lalaloopsy Popular is to try and optimize viewership. This name, although unoriginal, will probably attract more viewers than Lalaloopsy Imperfect (a previous name suggestion) or some other word.

CHLR

I'm seeing CHLR on the 28th! Yay! I haven't seen her for a year, and I am so excited! But there is one problem...I'm not sure if she still likes dolls. If she does, then expect a truckload of new videos. If she doesn't...then don't, I guess. I just really hope she still likes dolls.

New Camera, New Lalaloopsy and New Videos!

Um...sorry, I always do bad news. 

So I'll get it over with-I can't figure out how to upload my videos from my new camera and editing software without compressing them. I've tried sharing them on dropbox to edit on my iPad but it doesn't work. So I'll be using the iPad until I can get the editing software to behave. Sorry 😞

That means I can't do Caroline E2 or Lego Friends Popular Girls E6 and E7 until I have it sorted. 

On a positive note, I'm going to get a new Lalaloopsy soon! I don't know whether to get:

Mini 4 pack with Rosy, Toffee, Suzette and Prairie

Mini 4 pack with Ember, Forest, Lady and Spot

Of course, these are all on offer. I would never get a Lalaloopsy at full price unless it was a mini. In the UK they overprice them a LOT and I mean a LOT. Think about it this way-you could buy 41 chocolate bars for the same price as a full size Lalaloopsy. That's a lot. 

When I do get the new doll, I'll make a review and possibly a Welcome To Buttonsville video. Also, I'm going to do a new video about Chloe's sleepover that her little sister Sadie decides to ruin.

So it's not all bad news today. Which new Lalaloopsy do you think I should get, and do you have any name ideas for mini Ember and Toffee if I get them?

FTM, Caroline, Third Anniversary & BIRTHDAY!!!

Sorry I haven't been making videos for a while, but on Wednesday LAH came to my house and we just started messing around with the Lalaloopsies. Then I realised we were messing around with all the Face the Music characters. So we basically just filmed ourselves messing around and said that was the next two episodes. Also, I'll upload a the first episode of Caroline. The first episode is good but not really in the storyline. It's just exposition, I guess. Telling you how this family live and what kind of family they are. You'll figure it out. I guess this is the sneak peek if you want.

A Different Kind of Video...

Hi guys...

So as I'm getting older, I like different people on YouTube and different styles of video. Have any of you watched mlpstopmotion? Recently I discovered her channel and ever since I have been addicted to it, even though I don't like MLP. I really like her style of video, even though it deals with more mature themes. It’s not that unsuitable, it’s just more understandable for an older age group and targeted towards one in general. I’d say people who watch her videos should be 11+.

 

I am really inspired by her videos and want to make some like them (not copying, just inspired by. Like part of the idea comes from her videos and part of the idea is mine). The problem is, Lalaloopsies and Lego Friends are targeted towards a younger age group. So I’ll be getting an audience that shouldn’t really be watching my videos…well it might scare them or upset them a bit. I might put an age rating on them, and if I had Barbies or MLPs then I would make them with them instead, but I don’t. So I’ll have to make do with Lalaloopsies, even though they are dolls for younger people (nothing wrong with older people having them, it’s just more likely that 4 year olds would own these rather than a 4 year old owning a Barbie).

 

If you guys are okay with this kind of video then comment below. I just want my videos to be a bit more interesting and realistic, not just ‘The Pink Adventures of Button Eyes’ over and over again. Comment if you are okay with  these kind of videos. If you don’t know what I mean then go watch MLP Bad Girls or something like that.

 

Some ideas I have are a Stop Bullying video (but it won’t be like all those other ones out there that end…you know) and a series about a girl who has rich parents but then her mom leaves for no reason and she has to search for her, then she finds out the real reason why her mom left…

 

Even if I do make these videos, I will still make videos that are okay for everyone.

News...

This summer, you know what to expect because Harriet told you. Now you know what NOT to expect because I have decided to put an end to Boarding School. It's boring keeping the dolls' house the same all the time. I want to make it into a real house for Fletcher Family. However, ESB hopes to make a beach for the mini Lalaloopsies, so there will be a review of that if it's made. We are going to the beach this year so we are going to take Amelie, Jack and Nicole and you might see a video of them sunbathing. Maybe a video of Amelie & Jack's date? Also there has been a bit of conflict in their romance so we might see that too.
